Dear Tulsa Community,

The last two months have passed in a blur. We are deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support you have given us during this very difficult time. We have been left completely speechless by the loss that our staff, and the tenants that lived above have faced. The kindness and generosity that you all have shown has filled us with gratitude and hope that we can continue moving forward.

In moments like this, the community truly shines, and we are so grateful to be a part of the Tulsa Community. Through the support you have shown our staff, we have been able to focus on trying to move forward and figure out rebuilding efforts so that we can get back to serving you all again. Your love has been a beacon of light during the dark days of the last month.

We also want to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to the firefighters, first responders, and everyone who played a role in containing the fire and ensuring the safety of the staff and tenants of the building. Your bravery and selflessness during that weekend will be forever in our hearts and minds.

We are eternally grateful to you, Tulsa. We look forward to seeing you all in some way soon!

With love,
Lowood & Hodges Bend

Tulsa, Okla. | Sept. 26, 2023 – Tulsa-based GB Provisions shares an update on rebuilding efforts from a fire that occurred on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023. The following statement can be attributed to co-owners Noah Bush and John Gaberino.

“Hodges Bend and Lowood remain closed due to a devastating fire that happened on Saturday.  We are grateful that everyone was able to evacuate and there weren't any injuries.  Our priority is to support the 55 displaced employees by connecting them with work at our other locations and helping them find opportunities with other organizations who have reached out to offer assistance.  Our friend and colleague, Johnna Hayes with 3 Sirens Restaurant Group, has established a GoFund Me to support employees and other community members have established various fundraising efforts to support the displaced tenants living above the restaurants. Additionally, individuals can purchase gift cards on our Lowood and Hodges Bend websites to support the restoration efforts.

We are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love from Tulsans, and we are grateful for the heroic efforts of the Tulsa Fire Department. Tulsa fire crews are still monitoring the scene, and while we don’t have details on the full extent of the damage, it is our intention to begin the rebuilding process as soon as possible.”

Specific property-related questions should be directed to the property owner, RLB Thomas Properties.
